Gilcrease Museum Engagement | Melody & Brian

Introducing Melody & Brian! We had so much fun strolling through the Gilcrease Museum gardens with them for their engagement session in Tulsa, OK! These two would look at each other with such loving glances, you could just feel the love between them. We love engagement sessions because it is one of the first times we get to see how our couples interact! Each couple interacts differently, so understanding how to capture that, as well as helping the couple get comfortable, is so important! We love spending that time with them, so that when the wedding day arrives, we are like close friends having fun together while capturing some of the best memories of their lives.

Melody and Brian met on Match.com. Their first in person date was to a comedy show, where they found themselves laughing at all the same jokes! They felt so at ease with each other that by the end of their evening together they each knew they had their last “first date“ ever!

How did he pop the question?

The proposal was like a fairy tale! Brian and Melody had been traveling in the south of France. Brian waited until they were in the remote medieval village of Eze. He walked Melody around to a hidden spot on the trail with the mountain above them, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea below. Brian got down on one knee with the ring and asked Melody to spend the rest of her life with him. How dreamy and romantic is that?! Spoiler alert, she said “YES!”
